Coin Purse Embossed Sandhills Design

This purse is part of a cross cultural project, designed in Australia and handmade in Kashmir.

This design is owned by Damien and Yilpi Marks. 

The images depicts the sandhills of Damien's country, Mount Liebig, towards Papunya. When you see the hills from a distance, the wind blows through the sand, making the hills move and change form. The ripples, undulations and ridges in the sand make beautiful patterns. The image is embossed to the leather by Kashmiri artisans.
