Cotton Tea Towel - Bush Medicine Plants

This cotton tea towel is a cross cultural project, designed in Australia and handmade and digitally printed in India. Crafted from high-quality cotton, making it durable for long-term use, it's a perfect way to celebrate culture and bring new style to your kitchen.

This design is owned by Rosie Ngwarrin Ross, an artist of Ampilatwatja.

The community of Ampilatwatja made a conscious decision not to paint 'altyerr' dreaming stories, keeping them private. The artists paint their country where those stories sit. This detailed work is influenced by her daughter Margaret, Rosie creates the vibrant lively images of her country with brushes and sticks depicting the plants used for food and medicine, important to the survival of bush dwellers.
